John J. Wood

Mr. Wood began working with Iron Hound Management in 2009. He is the Chief Operating Officer responsible for the internal operations of the company.

Prior to Iron Hound, Wood spent over two years as a Director in Wachovia’s Real Estate Group. He was the Chief Operating Officer for the Real Estate Americas Division, supporting the many groups that handled origination, underwriting, securitization, trading and investment banking.

Wood worked as a Project Manager at both Bank of America and MBNA for twelve years. At those banks, he managed system enhancements and production operations for various parts of the credit card platform, including the integration of the Business Card portfolios after Bank of America's $35 billion acquisition of MBNA. 

Wood earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Lynchburg College.
